Build It! Das Bauhaus came out in 1991 for the Amiga, developed and published by Software 2000. It was one of those puzzle games that felt right at home on the platform, offering a clean, methodical challenge without a lot of flash. You don't see many games like it now, but back then it was a solid choice if you liked to think with your hands.
You control a small builder character who moves block by block across a grid, rotating two-tone tiles so their colored corners align with matching triangles at the board's edges. The goal is to clear each screen by making all the connections, and along the way you deal with obstacles like immovable blocks or tiles that shift under you. The pace is deliberate; you can take your time, though an optional timer adds pressure if you want it. It feels satisfying to watch a disorganized screen snap into order through careful planning.
