Game Overview

TrackMania Turbo on DS is basically the chaotic little sibling of the PC version—same wild stunt tracks and ridiculous physics, but now in your pocket. You get four environments (Stadium, Snow, Island, Coast), and yeah, Stadium’s the only one returning from the first DS game. The tracks are a mix of "how is this even possible?" and "oh god why did I take that jump," which is exactly what makes it fun.

There’s a campaign with 150 tracks, and you unlock pieces for the track editor as you go. The editor’s surprisingly deep for a DS game—I spent way too much time building impossible loops just to watch my car explode. Online multiplayer and track sharing work… when the servers aren’t dead, anyway. If you’ve got a DS and a need for speed (and crashes), this one’s a solid time-killer.
