Bullet is one of those arcade shooters that feels simple at first—until you realize how fast things spiral into chaos. You pick one of three resistance fighters (Emmy’s my go-to) and blast through six levels of a dystopian hellscape, from ruined streets to claustrophobic sewers, all while swarms of identical-looking robots rush you from every direction. Most go down in one shot, but there are so many that you’ll be backpedaling constantly.

The twin-stick controls are tight—left stick moves, right stick fires—and the real fun comes from managing your weapon meter. Special recharge platforms give you temporary upgrades, letting you unleash wider or faster shots, but they drain quick. You’ll be scrambling for power-ups mid-fight while dodging turrets and the occasional boss who just sits there smugly, flooding the screen with clones.

It’s brutal in single-player (no continues!), but with friends, it turns into a hilarious mess of friendly fire and last-second revives. Just don’t expect mercy on the final level—that’s when the game really decides to stomp on you. The Robot Master won’t go down easy.
