Play Bust-A-Move 2 - Arcade Edition Online

Bust-A-Move 2 came out on the Nintendo 64 in 1999, developed and published by Taito. It was a solid puzzle game in an era when the N64 had plenty of action and adventure titles but fewer pure puzzle experiences. If you liked the original arcade game, this was a straightforward home version with some extra modes.

You control a small dinosaur at the bottom of the screen who aims and fires colored bubbles upward. Your goal is to clear each stage by matching three or more bubbles of the same color, causing them to pop. Key mechanics include banking shots off the walls to hit tricky angles and creating chain reactions to clear large groups at once. The game starts off relaxed but the pace quickens as the bubble mass gradually descends, raising the tension with each screen. It feels satisfying to pull off a clever shot and watch a whole section disappear.
