Game Overview

Remember watching Jeopardy! as a kid and yelling answers at the TV? This NES version lets you actually play—just with simpler questions for younger players. You pick categories like "Animals" or "Cartoons," then race to type in the right question (yeah, it's backwards like the real show). The keyboard controls are clunky by today's standards, but there's something hilarious about frantically moving a cursor to spell "WHAT IS A KANGAROO" while the clock ticks down.

Up to three friends can play, or you can go solo against computer opponents (who somehow always know the obscure dinosaur facts). The final round's tense—you bet your hard-earned points, then everyone scribbles their answer at the same time. I lost a small fortune once because I spelled "Tyrannosaurus" wrong.

Three difficulty levels help, though even the easiest setting might stump you occasionally. Perfect for family game nights if your parents don't mind losing to a 7-year-old.
