Game Overview

Okay, so this NES Jurassic Park game is way more intense than I expected. You're Dr. Alan Grant, running around Isla Nublar with dinosaurs trying to eat you at every turn. The top-down view makes it feel like you're really sneaking through the park—until a raptor spots you and suddenly you're frantically blasting away with whatever ammo you've scavenged.

The levels are all about collecting or smashing dinosaur eggs (weird job for a paleontologist, but okay) to find keycards and progress. I kept getting lost until I figured out you can hack the park computers for hints—those terminals are lifesavers. And watch out for those mystery boxes: sometimes they give you extra health, other times they explode in your face. Classic NES troll move.

The boss fights are the best part. Nothing prepares you for that moment when the T-Rex crashes through the trees, or when you're suddenly dodging a herd of angry Triceratops. The different ammo types actually matter too—I learned the hard way that you don't want to face a raptor with just the basic pea shooter.
