Game Overview

Jurassic Park on the Amiga is way more intense than the movie—you play as Dr. Grant right after the T-Rex flips that van into the pit. Your first job? Track down Tim and Lex in this weird, top-down jungle maze while dodging raptors and other dinos that absolutely do not care about your survival. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, it’s oddly satisfying to sneak past a pack of compys.

Then, just when you think you’ve got the hang of it, the game flips to this janky-but-cool first-person section where you’re scrambling to restore power in the visitor center. The pixelated T-Rex staring you down in those dark hallways? Yeah, that still gets me. It’s clunky by today’s standards, but there’s something about the tension that makes it hard to put down.
