Ocean Software released Jurassic Park for MS-DOS in 1993, a time when PC games were often ambitious but technically constrained. The game didn't try to be a straightforward adaptation; instead, it offered a mix of perspectives that felt experimental for its era.

You play as Dr. Alan Grant, tasked with surviving Isla Nublar and restoring the park's security systems after the dinosaurs break free. The gameplay shifts between a first-person view inside buildings, where you solve simple puzzles and collect keycards, and an overhead action perspective outdoors, avoiding or tranquilizing dinosaurs. Navigating the island requires careful movement and resource management, as ammo and health are limited. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
