Game Overview

Man, the Jurassic Park DOS game was such a weird, ambitious mess—in the best way. You start off wandering Isla Nublar in this janky isometric view, then suddenly it switches to first-person when you go indoors, like you're wearing night vision goggles. The pixel art was actually pretty impressive for the time, way sharper than the console versions.

Gameplay's all over the place—you're rebooting computers, dodging dinos, even collecting raptor eggs for some reason. The whole nerve gas grenade ending is straight from the book, which was a cool (if dark) touch. That surround sound on the SNES version got all the hype, but I swear the PC version had this eerie atmosphere when you were creeping through those dimly lit corridors.

Funny how they made three totally different games under the same license. This one definitely feels like the "what if we threw everything at the wall?" experiment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
