Game Overview
Jurassic Park on the Amiga was one of those games that felt like a fever dream—especially Disk 5, which I’m pretty sure contained the weirdest parts of the whole experience. You’d boot it up and suddenly be thrown into this mix of top-down exploration and first-person chaos, dodging raptors in the dark while trying to figure out where the heck to go next. The pixelated T. rex still gives me nightmares.
It wasn’t the most polished game, but there was something weirdly gripping about it—maybe the way the Amiga’s sound chip made the dinosaur roars sound like a distorted scream. You either loved it or rage-quit after the third time a compy nibbled you to death. Either way, it stuck with you.
