Bust-A-Move 2 on the Game Boy is one of those games that looks simple until you're suddenly sweating over a single misaimed bubble. You play as a tiny dinosaur (because why not?) firing colored orbs up the screen, trying to match three before the ceiling of bubbles slowly descends to crush you. The first few levels lull you into thinking it's a breeze—then the game starts throwing weird angles, tricky gaps, and colors that always seem to be just out of reach.
This version adds more stages than the first game, and some of them get downright devious with their layouts. I remember getting stuck on one where the bubbles formed this spiral pattern—took me way too many tries to clear it. The controls are tight, though, and there's something weirdly satisfying about hearing that little *pop* when a chain reaction clears half the screen. Perfect for short bursts or long commutes, assuming you don't mind missing your stop because you're muttering "just one more try" under your breath.
It's the kind of puzzle game that makes you feel smart when you pull off a crazy combo and utterly helpless when the bubbles start piling up. Still holds up surprisingly well for a Game Boy title.
