Capcom World is like someone took a bunch of classic arcade cabinets, blended them together, and cranked up the energy. You start off in this neon-drenched hub world where you can jump into different Capcom-themed zones—one minute you're dodging Street Fighter fireballs, the next you're blasting through a Mega Man-style stage. The controls feel tight, which is good because some of those boss fights get seriously intense.
What surprised me was how well they mixed old-school mechanics with some modern touches. There's a bit of that "just one more try" pull when you lose, but without feeling cheap. My first run ended embarrassingly fast against what looked like a very angry Resident Evil monster with boxing gloves. You'll recognize a ton of little nods to Capcom's history if you've spent way too much time in arcades.
It's the kind of game where you'll suddenly realize you've been standing there for 45 minutes with a handful of tokens sweating over a dinosaur boss.
