Download Champion Of The Raj_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
1991 Amiga action-strategy game. Control one of six factions in 1800s India. Manage territories, collect taxes, allocate resources between military, industry, and law. Expand via conquest or diplomacy with arcade-style negotiation minigames. Features dynamic strategy balancing economy, army, and public loyalty. Includes action sequences after major victories.
Champion of the Raj is one of those old-school Amiga strategy games that somehow blends deep empire-building with totally random arcade minigames. You pick a faction—British, French, or one of the local powers—and try to take over 1800s India through taxes, troops, and diplomacy. But here’s the weird part: sometimes, instead of just clicking a button to negotiate, you’re suddenly racing elephants or hunting tigers in these janky but weirdly charming arcade segments.
At first, I just spammed troops and attacked everything, but that backfires fast—discontent rises, your economy tanks, and suddenly you’re broke. Turns out, upgrading law and order or industry is just as important as muscling your way through battles. And those arcade bits? They’re clunky, but winning a tiger hunt to sway a territory feels oddly satisfying. The whole thing’s a mess of ideas, but it works in a way only an Amiga game could.
