Play Championship Pool on nes Online
NES pool sim with tense tournaments, ghost-ball aiming, and chaotic multiplayer modes. Lose once and you're out—no pressure.

Championship Pool came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by Mindscape. It was one of the later releases for the console, arriving at a time when many players were already looking toward the 16-bit generation. The game offered a straightforward take on eight-ball and nine-ball, focusing more on simulation than flashy presentation.
You control a cue stick from an overhead view, carefully lining up shots using a helpful ghost ball that shows where the cue ball will strike. The main objective is to win tournaments by sinking all your designated balls and then the eight ball before your opponent. Key mechanics include adjusting English on the cue ball for spin and managing power with a meter that determines shot strength. The game moves at a deliberate pace, demanding patience and precision, especially in single-elimination matches where one loss ends your run. It feels satisfying to plan a difficult bank shot and watch it drop exactly as intended.
