Cheetahmen 2 is one of those NES platformers that feels like it was rushed out the door. You control three different Cheetahmen—each with slightly different jumps and attacks—but the controls are stiff, and the hit detection is just off enough to make every jump feel risky.
The levels are repetitive, mostly just running right while dodging enemies that spawn in awkward spots. The ape-man boss fight is the only real standout, but even that feels unbalanced. The music loops endlessly, and not in a good way.
It’s got that "so bad it’s interesting" vibe, but mostly, Cheetahmen 2 is just frustrating to play.
