Play Cheetahmen II (Unl) Online
You pick a mutant cheetah dude, swing a sword that never quite hits right, and laugh as the game glitches enemies into the ceiling. It's a disaster, but the kind you can't look away from.
Cheetahmen II came out in 1992 for the NES, developed by Active Enterprises. It was part of that late era of unlicensed cartridges, the kind that showed up in bargain bins and felt a little off from the moment you slid it into the console.
You control one of three bio-engineered Cheetahmen, each with slightly different abilities, as you move through side-scrolling levels. The main goal is to defeat enemies and reach the end of each stage, but the experience is defined by its technical problems. Your attacks often fail to connect with foes, platforms behave unpredictably, and the game is prone to sudden crashes or graphical errors. The difficulty feels arbitrary, less about skill and more about wrestling with the game's own instability. Playing it is an exercise in patience, where every small success is overshadowed by the sheer unpredictability of the software.
