Game Overview
Remember that old NES game where you played as those tiny detective chipmunks? Yeah, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers was way more fun than it had any right to be. You'd toss apples and boxes at weirdly aggressive bugs and robots while bouncing around construction sites and toy stores. The best part was teaming up with a friend โ one of you could carry the other like a living weapon, which led to some hilarious (and accidental) betrayals.
The level select map was ahead of its time too. You could skip around between cases instead of being stuck in a straight line, which was great when you kept dying on that stupid toy factory level. The music still randomly gets stuck in my head decades later.
