Play Chip and Dale 2 Online

You and a buddy bounce between wild levels—tossing apples at rats in a kitchen, dodging mummy mice in a warehouse, then brawling with possessed food in a fridge. The co-op chaos really shines when you accidentally yeet each other into enemies.

Game Overview

Chip 'n Dale 2 came out for the NES in 1993, developed by Capcom. It was one of the later releases for the system, arriving when the Super Nintendo was already well established, but it still managed to feel right at home on the older hardware. The game continues the adventures of the two chipmunks, building on the foundation of the first Rescue Rangers title with a familiar but polished style.

You control either Chip or Dale, working through side-scrolling stages by jumping on enemies and throwing apples, crates, or other objects you find in the environment. The main goal is to rescue Gadget from a series of themed levels, each broken into smaller, screen-by-screen areas. A key mechanic is cooperative play; a second player can join at any time, and you can pick up and throw your partner, which is either a huge help or a hilarious way to accidentally ruin a run. The levels are fairly short but packed with enemies and environmental hazards, keeping the pace brisk and the challenge consistent. It feels like a straightforward, cheerful platformer that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and the two-player mode adds a layer of unpredictable fun.
