Play Choujin Sentai - Jetman (Japan) [En by Mog House v1.0] Online

Choujin Sentai Jetman came out on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, developed by Angel and published by Bandai. It's a side-scrolling action game based on the popular Super Sentai series, fitting right in with the many other licensed titles of the era. You control one of the five color-coded Jetman heroes, each with their own special weapon and a giant robot for the bigger fights.

You move from left to right through levels, punching and kicking your way through groups of enemy soldiers. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage and defeat the boss, which often requires switching to your character's specific Birdonic weapon for more power. After clearing a few stages on foot, you get to pilot the Jet Icarus mech for a shoot 'em up segment against a large enemy. The difficulty is fairly standard for the time, with some cheap hits from off-screen enemies, but the ability to swap between team members helps. It feels like a straightforward, slightly janky adaptation of the show's action.
