Game Overview
Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced is basically the GBA sequel to The Huge Adventure, and it feels like a proper little Crash game squeezed onto the tiny screen. You’re still running, spinning, and jumping through colorful levels, but this time the world map lets you pick stages in whatever order you want—which is nice when you hit a wall on one level and just wanna try something else for a while.
The controls are tight, and the platforming’s got that classic Crash feel where it’s simple but still punishes you if you get sloppy. Some of the later stages get pretty brutal, especially with the GBA’s tiny buttons, but it’s satisfying when you finally nail a tricky section. The graphics are surprisingly good for the system, too—bright, cartoony, and packed with little details that make it feel like a proper Crash game.
If you liked the first GBA game or just want a solid portable platformer, this one’s worth digging up.
