Play Crash Bandicoot 2 : N-Tranced Online
Uka Uka and N. Tropy accidentally kidnap Crash’s evil twin, so now you’re dodging spikes, bouncing off nitro crates, and rolling through levels in a giant hamster ball that somehow feels amazing.
Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of those solid platformers that felt right at home on the handheld, a time when having a decent Crash game in your pocket was a real treat. The story picks up with Uka Uka and N. Tropy accidentally kidnapping Crash’s evil twin, so naturally, it’s up to you to sort things out.
You control Crash through a series of side scrolling and isometric levels, each filled with obstacles like spikes, nitro crates, and enemies that require precise jumps and spins. The main goal is to rescue Coco and Crunch by collecting crystals and defeating bosses. Signature mechanics include riding a giant hamster ball through certain stages, which controls surprisingly well, and using Crash’s signature spin attack to break boxes and fend off foes. The pacing is brisk, and some later stages ramp up the difficulty enough to demand a few retries. It feels responsive and satisfying to play, especially when you nail a tricky sequence of jumps.
