Play Cruis'n USA Online
Pick a car that barely turns, then blast past landmarks while dodging traffic—Golden Gate Bridge looks great right before you slam into a tour bus. The tracks get crazier until you're basically off-roading along canyon cliffs.

Game Overview
Remember that old arcade racing game where you could floor it down the Pacific Coast Highway or weave through Chicago traffic? Cruis'n USA brought that exact arcade chaos to the N64. You pick from four cars (none of them handle great, but that’s half the fun) and blast through real-ish US landmarks—Golden Gate Bridge, Death Valley, even downtown D.C. with all the traffic jams.
The tracks get wilder as you move up difficulties—Beverly Hills has these ridiculous hairpin turns, and the Grand Canyon level? Basically a dirt road with cliffs on both sides. You can tweak transmission type or music before races, but let’s be real: most people just mashed "Go" and hoped for the best. CPU opponents rubberband like crazy, so even if you’re leading, one crash into a semi truck means instant last place. Pure ‘90s arcade nonsense, in the best way.
It’s not exactly a sim, but that’s why it’s still fun to revisit—just don’t expect the graphics to hold up.
