Play Cyberball on nes Online
Future football with robot teams and a bomb for a ball. Pass fast or watch the heat meter—and your play—explode. Two-player mode splits QB/receiver duties.

Cyberball came out for the NES in 1991, published by Jaleco. It was part of that wave of arcade ports that tried to bring a flashier, faster experience home, though it always felt a bit different from the typical platformers and action games crowding the system at the time. You weren't saving a princess or exploring a fantasy world; you were managing a team of robots in a violent, high-stakes sport.
You control the quarterback of a four robot team, moving up the field against a defensive line. Your main objective is to complete passes to advance the ball into the end zone for a touchdown. The core mechanics revolve around the timed bomb you use as a football; you must complete passes quickly before it detonates, and you can also laterall the ball to other players to reset the fuse. The game is fast and punishing, demanding quick decisions under pressure. It feels like a tense, chaotic scramble where one mistimed throw can end your entire drive in a fiery explosion.
