Daredevil on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2004 from THQ and Encore. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture the feel of a comic book on a handheld. The GBA had a lot of these action titles, and this one tried to stand out by focusing on the hero's unique abilities.
You control Matt Murdock, moving through levels that mix side-scrolling brawling with some light platforming. Your main goal is to fight through waves of enemies, from street thugs to bigger bosses, to unravel a criminal plot. The signature mechanics involve using your billy club to swing across gaps and a sonar sense that highlights interactive objects and hidden enemies in the environment. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some enemy encounters can get repetitive. It feels like a solid, if unspectacular, attempt to translate the character's world into a playable form.
