Game Overview
Daredevil (EU) on GBA is one of those licensed games that feels rough but has its moments. You swing through New York with the billy club, which sounds cool until you realize the controls are stiff and the radar sense just highlights enemies in red. The first level throws you into a rooftop fight against thugs, and it's hard to tell if you're hitting them or just flailing.
What stuck with me was the sewer level, where everything's dark except for the radar pulses. It actually captures that blind hero vibe, even if the combat is just button mashing. Kingpin shows up later as this massive sprite that barely fits on screen, which is kind of funny in a dated way.
It's not great, but if you're a Daredevil fan, there's something oddly charming about its janky take on Hell's Kitchen.
