Davey Jones TD is one of those classic Flash tower defense games that just oozes pirate charm. You're basically Davey Jones, sailing through pixelated seas while setting up cannons, sea mines, and other pirate-y defenses to stop waves of ghost ships and sea monsters. The 8-bit art style gives it this retro arcade feel—like something you'd play on an old CRT monitor with a bag of Doritos nearby.
At first, I kept losing because I didn’t realize how important upgrades were—turns out, saving for the big cannon early makes a huge difference. The controls are simple (left-click to place stuff), but some of the later levels get brutal if you don’t plan your upgrades right. And yeah, there’s a scoring system, so if you’re the competitive type, you’ll probably replay levels just to beat your high score.
