Dead to Rights on GBA is one of those gritty action games where you play as Jack Slate, a cop who got set up and now has to shoot his way out of trouble. It’s got that early 2000s vibe—dark alley brawls, slow-mo gunfights, and way too many guys in trench coats. The controls take a second to get used to (why does rolling feel so stiff?), but once you get the hang of diving behind cover and lining up headshots, it clicks.

Honestly, the story’s cheesy as hell—corrupt officials, revenge plots, the whole nine yards—but it works for what it is. You’ll spend most of your time flipping between fists and guns, clearing rooms full of goons who somehow never run out of ammo. Not gonna lie, some sections feel unfair until you memorize enemy spawns, but pulling off a perfect slow-mo takedown never gets old. If you’re into B-movie action with a side of jank, this one’s weirdly satisfying.
