Play Dead to Rights Online
You play as a cop punching thugs and grabbing their guns, flipping in slow-mo while your attack dog mauls anyone who gets too close. The shotgun feels brutal when you actually find ammo for it.
Dead to Rights hit the Game Boy Advance in 2004, a Namco release that tried to squeeze a console style action game onto the handheld. It arrived during a time when developers were pushing the GBA with more ambitious titles, often adapting concepts from bigger systems into something portable and immediate.
You control Jack Slate, an undercover cop fighting through a corrupt city. Your main goal is to survive screen by screen shootouts, clearing areas of armed enemies while occasionally rescuing hostages or disarming bombs. Two mechanics define the action: you can dive in slow motion to avoid bullets, and you command a police dog to attack enemies or fetch items. Ammo is scarce, so you often disarm foes to take their weapons, making each encounter tense and deliberate. The pacing is aggressive, and the difficulty can spike without much warning. It feels raw and desperate, like you're barely staying in control as the chaos unfolds.
