So here's the deal with Destination Earthstar—it's this weird little NES gem where you're basically humanity's last hope. Aliens called the Kojans snatched everyone up centuries ago, and now you're some hotshot pilot trying to find Earth again. Spoiler: They don't make it easy.
What's cool is how it switches things up. At first, you're in this first-person cockpit view, juggling fuel levels while tweaking speed and weapons—kinda like a stripped-down flight sim. Then suddenly you're side-scrolling through these arcadey shooter sections when you land on planets. The shift keeps you on your toes, though I'll admit the controls take some getting used to.
