Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes! came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of many licensed platformers on the system, aiming to capture the look and humor of the cartoon. You play as Dexter, the boy genius, whose lab has been overrun by malfunctioning inventions and clones of his sister Dee Dee.
You control Dexter through side-scrolling levels, running, jumping, and using a variety of gadgets to defeat enemies and solve environmental puzzles. The main goal is to clean up the lab by progressing through each area, defeating bosses, and collecting items to repair the damaged machinery.
