Game Overview
Disney's Brother Bear (E) on GBA is one of those licensed games that actually tries to capture the movie's feel. You switch between Kenai and Koda, which changes up the gameplay a bit - Kenai's stronger, Koda's faster. The world looks decent for a GBA title, with those icy mountains and forests from the film.
What surprised me was how much platforming there is. You're jumping across logs, climbing rocks, occasionally fighting wildlife. The controls are a little stiff, but you get used to it. There are these hidden salmon mini-games too, which break up the pacing in a good way.
It's not groundbreaking, but if you liked the movie, it's a solid little adventure. The way the two bears play differently keeps it interesting longer than most movie tie-ins.
