Dommy came out in 1990 for arcades, developed by Arcade Studios. You control a cursor to push colored dominoes into one of three lanes at the bottom of the screen. The main goal is to clear the screen by matching three or more of the same color, but the real objective is to build huge chains for a high score. Your main tools are a brick drop that crushes a single domino and a stun shot that freezes a tile mid-fall, letting you set up bigger reactions. The pace is relentless; the dominoes fall faster the longer you survive, and a single misplaced block can ruin a careful setup. It feels like a constant, tense negotiation with chaos.
