Play Doraemon 2 Online
Dig through Doraemon's pocket for bizarre gadgets, then hop between time periods fixing Nobita's latest mess—turn-based fights get silly when you're whipping out bamboo copters mid-battle.

Doraemon 2 came out for the Game Boy in 1991, developed by Sakata SAS. It was one of those early handheld titles that tried to capture the spirit of a popular series, back when portable games were still figuring out how much complexity they could really handle. You don't see many licensed games from that era hold up, but this one had its own strange charm.
You control Nobita, running through side-scrolling levels and using various gadgets pulled from Doraemon's pocket to solve puzzles and fight enemies. The main goal is to travel through different time periods to fix historical mistakes Nobita caused. Key mechanics include switching between gadgets like the Take-copter to fly or the Pass Loop to warp through walls, and engaging in simple turn-based battles where you select an item to use against foes. The pacing is a bit slow by today's standards, and some sections can feel repetitive, but there's a genuine sense of curiosity in experimenting with each new tool you find. It feels like tinkering with a box of strange toys to see what each one can actually do.
