The core of the game is using your drill to break through walls, defeat enemies by ramming into them, and solve environmental puzzles, like turning giant gears or activating switches. A key mechanic is the gear shifter; you have three gears that change the drill's speed and power, and you often need to shift on the fly to maintain your spin or even use a quick reverse gear to launch yourself backward for extra momentum or to reach higher platforms. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty has a sharp curve, introducing complex multi-step puzzles that require precise timing and gear management. It feels incredibly tactile and satisfying to plow through obstacles, the controller rumbling in your hands with every successful hit.
