Play Driver 2 Advance (E)(Eurasia) Online
"Trying to relive Driver 2 on GBA feels like playing through foggy memories—cars clip through walls, the city's eerily empty, and the framerate stumbles when things get hectic. Stick to the PS1 version unless you enjoy janky charm."

Driver 2 Advance came out in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by Infogrames. It was part of that wave of ambitious console-to-handheld ports, trying to squeeze a big open world game onto a tiny cartridge. The result is predictably compromised, but it’s a curious artifact from a time when developers were still figuring out how to shrink these experiences down.
You play as undercover cop Tanner, driving through four cities like Chicago and Rio, taking on missions that involve tailing cars, evading police, and causing havoc. The main draw is the freedom to steal any car and just explore, though the world feels sparse and the draw distance is short. Signature mechanics include the ability to exit your vehicle on foot, a first for the series, and a reworked wanted system that triggers police chases. The framerate dips noticeably during high speed pursuits, and the controls can feel slippery. It’s a rough, stripped down version of the console game that somehow remains playable if you adjust your expectations.
