Game Overview
So, DuckTales 2 starts with the nephews digging through Scrooge's basement (because of course they are) and stumbling onto a piece of some old treasure map. Turns out it's part of a legendary stash left by Scrooge's great-great uncle Fergus McDuck—cue the globe-trotting treasure hunt.
You play as Scrooge, bouncing around on his cane like a grumpy, money-obsessed pogo stick. The controls feel just like the first game—hold B mid-air to pogo on enemies or spike pits, tap walls to golf-swing your cane into stuff. This time though, you can also push and pull certain objects, which comes in handy when you're hunting for hidden map pieces.
All the usual Duck crew shows up: the nephews, Webby, even Launchpad (who probably shouldn't be near anything valuable). Gyro Gearloose pops in to upgrade your cane, which is how you know the devs wanted you to backtrack for secrets. Classic NES move.
