ECW Hardcore Revolution is that chaotic, chair-swinging wrestling game you probably remember from the N64 days—if you had a high tolerance for janky graphics and loved the absolute madness of ECW. The wrestlers look surprisingly close to their real-life counterparts (for 2000, anyway), and yeah, you can absolutely powerbomb someone through a table. Matches get messy fast, with weapons scattered around and the crowd losing it the whole time.
It’s not the smoothest wrestling game out there, but there’s something weirdly charming about how over-the-top it is. You’ve got guys like Sabu and RVD pulling off their signature moves, and the commentary—while hilariously repetitive—somehow adds to the vibe. If you’re into old-school wrestling games that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one’s a nostalgia trip worth taking.
