Play Eragon (U)(Rising Sun) Online
Explore forests and caves, battle Urgals and soldiers, and soar through the skies on your dragon in Eragon for Game Boy Advance.
Eragon for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2006, developed by Amaze Entertainment and published by Vivendi Games. It was one of many movie tie-ins from that era, built to capitalize on the film's release, but it managed to stand out a bit on the handheld. The GBA had no shortage of action adventures, and this one fit right in with its straightforward, screen-by-screen approach to exploration.
You control Eragon, the young Dragon Rider, navigating through forests, caves, and enemy camps. The main goal is to follow the story, fighting Urgals and Galbatorix's soldiers while occasionally taking to the skies on your dragon, Saphira. Combat relies on a simple sword combo system; you can also use magic to throw fireballs or create shields. The game is linear but paced well, with just enough variety between ground combat and dragon flight segments to hold your interest. It's not overly difficult, but some enemy encounters require timing and a bit of strategy. Playing it feels like a solid, uncomplicated adventure that makes good use of the source material without overcomplicating things.
