Game Overview

Escape From Colditz nails that tense, methodical feel of a real POW breakout—if you've played The Great Escape on Spectrum, you'll recognize the vibe immediately. You juggle four prisoners (each with their own starting position in the camp), switching between them to coordinate pickpocketing keys, sneaking into storage rooms, or digging tunnels under the guards' noses.

The isometric view makes every hallway feel claustrophobic, and getting caught in a restricted zone means losing all your hard-stolen gear. I learned the hard way that sprinting past a guard just gets you shot—better to hide in a closet until the patrol passes. The uniforms are a game-changer though; nothing beats the rush of strolling right past the Nazis pretending to be one of them.

It's unforgiving, but that's what makes pulling off an escape so satisfying.
