Extermination is this frantic arcade shooter where you're basically fighting your way uphill—literally. The screen scrolls upward nonstop, mutants pour in from all sides, and your health ticks down like a time bomb. You’ve gotta grab those little life pickups they drop, or you’re toast. Oh, and bumping into enemies? Hurts way more than it should.
There’s a weirdly satisfying loop to it: blast mutants, scoop up their loot, occasionally stumble on hidden underground rooms (just shoot the suspicious rocks). Those treasure chests inside are a gamble—sometimes you get a game-changing power-up, other times… well, hope you like surprises. If you’ve got a buddy for co-op, it’s twice the chaos (and half the survival odds). Just don’t forget you’re supposed to rescue those two women on the way up. Good luck with that.
