Play Family Feud Online
Typing answers with a D-pad is clunky as hell, but nailing the perfect survey response while your weird custom family cheers makes it weirdly addictive. The AI’s dumb, but that just means you’ll actually win sometimes.
Family Feud on the Sega Genesis, released by GameTek in 1993, was one of those straightforward adaptations of a TV show that felt right at home on the system. It didn't try to push any technical boundaries, but it captured the look and sound of the program well enough to stand out among other party games of the era.
You control a cursor to type out answers from a list of on-screen letters, trying to match the most popular survey responses. The main goal is to beat the opposing family by scoring points through correct guesses, with mechanics like the Fast Money round testing your speed and memory under pressure. The pacing is quick, though the difficulty can feel uneven depending on how generous or stubborn the game's pre-set answers are. It's a simple, sometimes frustrating game that still manages to feel satisfying when you outsmart its limited logic.
