Play Fantastic 4 Online

Switch between the Fantastic Four’s powers mid-fight—stretching past lasers as Reed, melting ice with Johnny’s flames, or just smashing everything as the Thing. It’s got that old-school brawler feel where combos actually land with weight.

Game Overview

Fantastic 4 on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2005 from Activision. It was one of those licensed games that tried to capture the feel of the movie, and it fit right in with the era's portable beat 'em ups. You got to play as the whole team, which was a nice change from games that only let you control one hero.

You control all four members of the Fantastic Four, switching between them on the fly to solve puzzles and fight through waves of enemies. The main goal is to stop Doctor Doom, which involves moving through levels, beating up bad guys, and occasionally dealing with environmental obstacles. Signature mechanics include using each character's unique power to progress; for instance, Mr. Fantastic stretches to reach distant switches, the Human Torch melts ice barriers, and the Thing smashes through walls. The game moves at a steady pace, though some sections can feel repetitive, and the difficulty spikes occasionally. It feels satisfying to experiment with the team's different abilities, even if the action gets a bit straightforward after a while.
