Fantastic Voyage_Disk2 is one of those Amiga games that feels like a fever dream—you're piloting a microscopic submarine through a dying scientist's bloodstream, dodging rogue antibodies and squeezing through twisty capillaries. The first level throws you right into the chaos: you're weaving between floating cells while blasting enemies, but if you miss three shots in a row, your shield recharges—which is either a lifesaver or a cruel joke depending on your aim.
What I didn’t expect was how much backtracking there’d be. Those nine circuit boards you need? Half of them are tucked away in side passages you’ll miss if you just barrel forward. And good luck surviving without snagging oxygen canisters—the submarine guzzles fuel like it’s going out of style. The narrow corridor sections are tense, too; one wrong nudge against a wall and your energy ticks down. It’s equal parts shooter and precision driving sim, which somehow works. Just don’t blame me when you get lost in the guy’s cerebellum.
