Play Feda - The Emblem of Justice (Japan) Online
You lead a rebellion in tight tactical battles where bulky units take up space—misplace a soldier and suddenly your archers are cornered by knights. The pixel art’s moody, the music’s tense, and every move feels like it could cost you the fight.

Feda: The Emblem of Justice is one of those SNES strategy RPGs that flew under the radar outside Japan, which is a shame because it’s got this weird charm to it. You start off leading a ragtag rebellion against an evil empire—classic stuff—but the battles feel weightier than your average grid-based tactics game. Units take up multiple squares, so positioning matters way more than in, say, Fire Emblem.
The first few missions throw you into dense forests and tight corridors where one wrong move can get your archers surrounded. I remember restarting the second battle three times because I kept underestimating how far enemy knights could lunge. The pixel art’s got this moody, almost Ogre Battle vibe, and the music? Surprisingly tense for a Super Famicom game.
It never got an official English release, but if you’re into 90s SRPGs with rough edges and big ideas, this one’s worth digging up. Just don’t expect Shining Force-level polish.
