Play Feda - The Emblem of Justice (Japan) (Beta) Online
You maneuver your ragtag rebel squad through tactical battles where every tile counts—archers snipe from ridges while your armored tanks barely keep up, and one wrong step gets someone killed. That pixelated medieval rebellion vibe hits just right.

Feda: The Emblem of Justice is one of those hidden SNES gems that never made it West—which is a shame, because it’s basically Nintendo’s take on Shining Force, but with its own twist. You’ve got grid-based battles where positioning matters way more than you’d think at first, and the character designs have this cool medieval-meets-fantasy vibe.
First few minutes in, you’re thrown into a rebellion story (classic ‘90s JRPG stuff) and handed a squad of misfits—archers who hit hard but fold like paper if an enemy gets close, knights who can take hits but move like molasses. The terrain actually matters too, which keeps fights from feeling like mindless slugfests. And yeah, the Saturn remake added some polish, but there’s something charming about the Super Famicom’s pixel art.
If you’re into tactical RPGs and don’t mind digging up fan translations, this one’s worth a weekend.
