Play Final Knockout Online
Pick a beefy 90s boxer, step into the ring, and trade haymakers that make the screen shake—just try not to eat a knockout punch when the AI starts reading your dodges. Two-player mode turns into a gloves-off brawl where every missed block hurts.

Final Knockout came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Opus. It was part of that wave of fighting games that tried to capture some of the arcade energy at home, though it leaned more into a straightforward boxing style rather than the over-the-top martial arts of its peers. The graphics were solid for the time, with big, detailed sprites that filled the screen during close-ups.
You control a boxer from a side view, moving back and forth to land punches and avoid your opponent's attacks. The main goal is to win matches by either knocking out the other fighter or outscoring them on points by the final bell. Key mechanics include building up a super meter by landing clean hits, which lets you unleash a more powerful special punch; you also have to carefully manage your stamina, since throwing too many punches in a row leaves you vulnerable. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, forcing you to pick your shots instead of button mashing. It feels tense and physical, especially when you're low on health and trying to survive the round.
