Fishy is one of those classic Flash games that’s stupidly simple but weirdly addicting. You start as this tiny fish, basically a snack for everything else, and you just swim around gobbling up anything smaller than you. Each bite makes you grow a little, but it takes forever to feel like you’re actually getting somewhere.
The real tension comes from bigger fish lurking around. One wrong move and you’re suddenly on the menu. I lost count of how many times I got cocky, tried to chase something just a bit smaller, and then got blindsided by a shark or something. The controls are floaty, which makes dodging predators feel kinda frantic in a good way.
It’s not deep, but there’s something satisfying about slowly working your way up from being prey to becoming the terror of the pond. Just don’t expect to get there fast.
