Flappy is a simple but surprisingly tricky NES puzzle game where you play as a yellow mole pushing blocks around. The goal is straightforward—get the blue stone to its platform—but the way the red stones interact with gravity and enemies makes it way harder than it sounds.
At first, it feels like a basic Sokoban clone, but then you realize you can stack or even crush enemies with the blocks. The sleeping mushrooms add a little chaos—sometimes they help, sometimes they just get in the way. The physics can be janky, especially when stacking, but that kind of adds to the charm.
It’s one of those games where you’ll get stuck on a level for way too long, walk away, and then suddenly figure it out when you come back. Flappy isn’t deep, but it’s got just enough challenge to keep you pushing stones around for a while.
