Game Overview

Flashback_Disk2 for the Amiga is one of those games that feels like it was made by people who actually cared. You start off with this weirdly smooth rotoscoped animation of the main character, Conrad, rolling and jumping—which, back in the day, was mind-blowing. The controls take a second to get used to (hold down to run, tap to carefully aim your gun), but once it clicks, moving through the dystopian world just feels right.

It’s not just about shooting stuff—you’ll actually have to think, solve puzzles, and talk to NPCs who sometimes give you cryptic hints. The atmosphere is thick with that ‘90s sci-fi vibe, all moody synth tracks and pixel-perfect alien cities. And yeah, it’s tough—expect to die a few times figuring out the timing on jumps or which dialogue choices actually keep you alive.

If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator, this one’s still worth booting up just to see how ahead of its time it was.
