Game Overview

Flashback on MS-DOS is one of those games that feels way ahead of its time—like if Prince of Persia and a sci-fi thriller had a baby. You play as Conrad, who moves with this weirdly realistic weight to him. Like, he doesn’t just leap across chasms effortlessly—you actually have to time his jumps, watch his footing, and pray he doesn’t faceplant from a ledge that’s just a little too high.

The levels are these sprawling, multi-layered puzzles where you’re constantly climbing, dropping down, or figuring out how to get past some security system. At first, it’s just running and shooting with your unlimited (but kinda wimpy) pistol, but later you get gadgets like a force shield and even a teleporter. Throwing that thing around to reach new areas feels so satisfying once you get the hang of it.

It’s got that classic ‘90s difficulty too—expect to die a lot from falls or random laser shots until you memorize the layouts. But when you finally nail a tricky section, it’s pure relief. Definitely a game that rewards patience.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
