Fly-Boy is one of those arcade games that hooks you in the first 30 seconds—you’re immediately thrown into a tiny pixel plane, dodging mountains and enemy fire while the chiptune soundtrack blares. The controls are simple (left, right, shoot), but the screen fills up with so much chaos so fast that you’ll crash into a zeppelin at least three times before getting the hang of it.
What I love is how unapologetically retro it feels—no tutorials, no hand-holding, just you and a steadily increasing swarm of enemy planes. The later levels get brutal, with bullet patterns that feel almost like a shoot-’em-up.
