Play Forsaken 64 Online
Dodging rockets in zero-G while the screen flashes blue from plasma fire—this was the N64 multiplayer chaos we lived for. Those lock-on beeps still haunt my dreams.

Forsaken 64 came out in 1998 for the Nintendo 64, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was part of that wave of early 3D shooters trying to push the hardware, with mixed results. The game offered a single-player campaign and competitive multiplayer, but it never quite reached the popularity of titles like GoldenEye or Turok.
You pilot a small hovercraft through maze-like tunnels and open chambers, fighting enemy drones and turrets. The main goal is to navigate each stage, destroy key targets, and find the exit. Two mechanics stand out: full six degrees of freedom movement, letting you strafe and rotate in any direction, and a lock-on targeting system for your varied weapons. The pace is fast and disorienting; the difficulty comes from tight spaces and aggressive enemies. It feels like being lost in a dark, claustrophobic arcade shooter.
